Below are pics of the proposed improvements to the Broadwalk and surrounding area. After Wally and other concerned citizens raised a ruckus, the plans for Charnow Park were revised to have a smaller fountain and more shade trees and sitting areas. All in all, I like the new arrangement more because of the shade and the sitting areas. It's nice to be able to chill after a few games and watch a moon-rise, methinks.

About the Wi-Fi, well... some of us are still waiting for it to get out to the Historic Courts area. Apparently, the Network Geek believes all activity is towards the south of Hollywood Beach and the Bandstand area and has left the rest of the Beach without Wi-Fi coverage. I know that since Katrina and Wilma, priorities have changed- but keep this in mind, CRA- or whoever's responsible for networking the Beach area- we'd like to get some of that bandwidth on the central and north side of Hollywood Beach too!! We're waiting!
